If you have received email updates from us you would have automatically been sent a username and log in. These details were recently emailed to you in a "reminder email". If you deleted this email and do not know your log in details please call the office on (07) 3800 8000 or email us through the contact page and we will be happy to help you with these details.
If you try and enter incorrect log in details in the "Sign In" box that have not been assigned to your email address you will receive an error message saying "Wrong username or Password". Please contact the office via contact page for your correct log in.
If you try and enter incorrect log in details in the "Register Now" box that have not been assigned to your email address as you progress you will receive an error message saying "Your email address is already in our database." Please contact the office via contact page for your correct log in.
If you would like to change the handle you have been given please contact the office via contact page to let us know what you would like it changed to.
When you have the correct log in details you need to enter your handle and password in the "Sign In" box, not the "Register Now" box. The "Register Now" box is for new clients only, people who do not receive our regular email updates.
Now you can edit your profile, upload photos, search through other members, communicate with members in your contact list and use many other features (some features are limited for standard members). Check the box "Remember me" to get into the site automatically without extra verification process.
Once you have updated your profile remember to go back and edit your "Secondary Profile Information". To do this go to "My Account", then "Edit Profile" then "Secondary Profile Information." here you can edit your age etc.
To leave the Site simply click "Logout" on the main menu.
Once you have logged in, you can search through our members and view photos and detailed profiles of othe singles just like yourself!
If a member is online then the circle near their name will be green - if member offline that circle will be red.
There is different categories of search that are available to user.
Match Maker: Here you can enter what you are looking for in a partner, we will email you when singles join who are compatible with you. Also when you log in and click on MATCH MAKER you will have a list of all those people who you are highly compatible with.
Note: Only members with Gold and Platnium membership may use all options of the Search system.
If someone catches your eye, you can send them a "Virtual Gift" (a kiss, bottle of wine or bunch of flowers) - at the bottom of their profile on the right hand side you will see these options. The member will then receive a mail alert with a link to your profile.
If another member shows some interest in you or sends you a message, you will get an email at your personal mailbox.
Your profile lets other members know about you. Make sure you upload a picture of yourself, clients with pictures are receiving far more emails and virtual gifts then those without.
Note: You can not change your handle, email address and sex orientation. Please contact the office via contact page if you would like to change any of these details or phone (07) 3800 8000.
To hide your profile simply log in and go to MY ACCOUNT, here you can click on SUSPEND PROFILE. This way you can book and pay for events on line without anyone seeing your profile. If you would like to make your profile visible again just click on VISIBLE MODE.
Here you can upload or remove up to five photos.
If you cannot upload a digitial photo of yourself please mail it to Single Life, P.O. Box 1360 BROWNS PLAINS QLD 4118, please include your username and password we will upload this for you.
If you would like your photo to be PRIVATE so you can only show whom you choose to see it, please email karen@singlelife.com.au with PRIVATE PHOTO in the subject line, in the body of your email please include your username and password. We will upload PRIVATE PHOTO as your MAIN PHOTO once this is done any photos you upload you can designate as a PRIVATE PHOTO. For someone to see your private photos you must both be on each others FRIENDS list.
It is highly recommend that you upload a photo as it gives you much better opportunities to be contacted by other members and naturally makes communication much more easy and exciting.
To do this just go to "My Photo Album" then click the "browse" button. Locate the photo on your hard drive then click submit below. Your photo should be a JPEG or GIF file and if not, we recommend you convert your photos to JPEG format before uploading them as this makes them smaller so its quicker for you.
Please do not include any kinds of contacts or commercial advertisings in your picture.
The first photo by default (highlighted as Main in your Photo Album) is shown in search results. Poor quality photos will not be displayed or photos that have more than one person in the photo.
Every photo is reviewed by our administrator within 24 hours after uploading and then becomes available for other members.
From here you can view your current status and quantity of days after which your account will expire. Here you can also manage your photos and edit your profile.
If you want to hide your profile you can change account mode into invisible ("suspend profile") or activate it back to visible mode ("activate profile").
You can change password by clicking on appropriate link.

To change you password you must enter your old password and a new one.
Your password must be between 5 and 15 digits.

Here you can view statistics of your profile such as how many times your profile has been viewed and how many virtual gifts you received. Click on appropriate links to see who was viewing you and who sent you a gift.

To read message click on the "Subject"
Add users to your address book by clicking on the icon near user handle
To view details about a user who sent you a letter click at the "From" field
Unread messages are always highlighted
To perform an actions (like deleting) select the checkbox to the left of message and click the appropriate button from bellow the letters list
All mail kept for 90 days after which it will be automatically removed
By clicking "Add to IM" you will add user to your "Contact List" after what you can send a message to him by clicking his name in your contact list.
Any messages sent to people who are offline, will be stored and available when person next log in.
If you don't want to be displayed in a list of users who are chatting online you should choose "invisible mode" in the IM window.
If you want to view one of your contacts profile from the messenger click on the "i" button right to contact name and you will be transferred to detailed users profile.
To remove user from your contact list click "x" icon right to user name.
Note: By performing this action you will be automatically removed from contact list of that member also.
